We are less than 2 weeks away from KatsuCon. This will be my first time at this convention and I’m really excited to be helping out and shooting at my girlfriend’s booth: The Cosplay Couture Photobooth
We debuted this new concept this past December at Holiday Matsuri in an effort to bring something a little different to a convention: better quality photos away from the typical convention faire of photography. We’re really excited because this is the first time we’ll be bringing the concept out of state. We’re bringing along with us certified make-up artist Heather Toyoko to our booth as well to provide a professional look to match professional cosplay work as well as a little pampering to a cosplayer’s busy day.
We’re already almost completely booked but we’ve got a few shoots spots and some make-up spots left!

I’m definitely a little nervous but really excited to work at KatsuCon in DC this year! If you’re cosplaying, good luck on finishing your costumes! Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones this year especially at the photographer meet up on Friday night!
